Research print tasks - CD albums and magazine advert

I think i will use a similar style to that of Ndubz as they appeal to a young audience and i want my artist to too.
O like the colours used and it is obvious form all my research that i will need to focus on having the artist as the central image in both print tasks.
It also seems that the artists name and track are the two most important pieces of text.

I've looked closely at the mag ads as i wasn't sure how to style mine. They seem very similar in the styling of a cd cover, its the text which is special to these adverts. i aim to use examples of places to buy the cd, a copy of the cd cover and maybe tour dates?

i experimented with colour but as i wanted them to match and link with the cd i changed it all to purple
i created a smoke image from a photo which i took of him. this was to show his spiky hair as this is part of his image.
This is my final mag advert. i added the "out Now' as this is a convention of these adverts

I decided to go for a more modest image as i thought as young artist it would be easier to sell him as 'cute' instead of a gangster. if you think about JLS and Justin Beiber, there cute boy image is what sells them.
I had a more serious image inside and used the sign of the crown on the jacket to represent his name - King Sour but also this ties in with the video as this is used in the video.
i choose a picture i took of him at his show to use o the front and back, i added a blur to make him look special and add to that 'celebrity' look. I used the colours which link in with the other print task and I thought that the mic links with the recording studio clips in the video.
